Aging skin is increasingly susceptible to lipid depletion, the loss of natural compounds in skin’s surface. Lipid loss compromises skin’s natural protective barrier, resulting in visible signs of accelerated aging as skin loses its ability to effectively protect and self-repair.
As a result, visible signs of aging may appear more pronounced in the form of skin roughness, uncomfortable tightness, dullness, and loss of facial fullness. That's why we create formulas that eliminate dry skin for good. Our products hydrate deep into the dermis, strengthening the skin barrier to lock in moisture and protect skin from environmental stressors.
CERAMIDES
We have replicated moisture barrier-building ceramides with estolides, a unique substance derived from plant oils. Like ceramides, estolides fill in any microscopic hydration gaps in the skin, locking in all of the formula’s hydrating benefits and boosting its efficacy overall. As the skin barrier is strengthened, so is its ability to protect skin from damage.
FATTY ACIDS
The skin’s natural esters are emulated by Meadowfoam Delta-Lactone, an ester from the fatty acids of Meadowfoam seed oil. When just a touch of this rare ingredient is blended into skincare, it helps provide balanced hydration while also greatly improving the skin’s tone and texture, giving it a super smooth, freshly moisturized look and feel.
CHOLESTEROL
We mimic cholesterol with phytosterols derived from certain seed oils like sunflower or safflower. Phytosterols help soothe damaged skin by deeply hydrating and boosting cell regeneration. Phytosterols also have potent anti-aging benefits that help protect against damaging environmental factors, keeping the skin supple and youthful-looking.
MEET OUR PRIZED PROPRIETARY INGREDIENT: THE MEDASSYNIAN LIPID COMPLEX
The hero ingredient found in many of Trilipiderm skincare products is our very own Medayssinian Lipid Complex. This unique complex is a carefully balanced formulation of two natural oils: Meadowfoam seed oil and Abyssinian oil.
Each of these antioxidant-rich oils soothe irritated skin and are top-notch moisturizers, delivering hydration to every layer of the skin. Abyssinian oil's high concentration of fatty acids help to soften rough areas and promote skin elasticity, fighting signs of premature aging.
Meadowfoam seed oil locks in moisture to prevent dry skin's return, strengthening the skin's natural barrier to protect it from environmental stressors. When paired together, our Medayssinian Lipid Complex leaves the skin feeling hydrated, soft, and without a greasy residue.
