WE'RE PLANTING TREES AGAIN

The world is hurting. Here's something real we can do.

We won't pretend the news hasn't been heavy lately. Conflict in the Gulf. Oil spills devastating marine ecosystems along coastlines that were already under pressure. Forests disappearing faster than they're replaced. The kind of headlines that make it easy to feel like there's nothing one person — or one purchase — can meaningfully do.

We've felt that too. And every year when Earth Day comes around, we ask ourselves the same question: are we actually doing something that matters, or are we just talking?

For the past several years, our answer has been this: every order plants a tree. Not as a marketing gimmick. Not as a footnote buried in a newsletter. As a real, tangible commitment — one tree, one order, one customer at a time.

In 2026, we're doing it again. And honestly? This year it feels more urgent than ever.

Small actions, done together, create the kind of change that outlasts any single headline.

Years of trees. One continuing commitment.

This isn't a one-time campaign we rolled out to capitalize on an environmental news cycle. We've been participating in the for several years now — because we believe that if you're going to call yourself a sustainable brand, you have to back it up with action year over year, not just in the good moments.

The USDA Plant a Tree Program plants trees across 154 national forests and grasslands — 193 million acres across the United States and its territories. Trees go where the greatest reforestation needs exist: areas impacted by wildfire, flooding, drought, insect outbreaks, and other disturbances. Real need, real land, real trees.

Every year we do this, we learn something new about what consistency means. About what it looks like when a brand treats sustainability as a core value rather than a seasonal activation.

How This Campaign Has Grown

OUR FIRST YEAR

We Planted Our First Tree

A quiet commitment. One purchase, one tree. We didn't know where it would lead.

YEAR TWO

Customers Started Asking About It

Word spread. Customers were choosing us specifically because of the tree program. We doubled our goal.

YEAR THREE

We Expanded Our Packaging Commitment

Trees outside — and sustainability inside. We overhauled our packaging to match the mission.

2026 · RIGHT NOW

Our Biggest Goal Yet: 100 Orders $100 per Order plants roughly 400 Trees by Earth Day

The world needs this more than ever. So do our forests. Let's get there together.

Shop Now. Plant a Tree.

Every order from now through April 22nd plants one tree through the USDA Plant a Tree Program. No coupon code. No extra charge. Just your order doing good.

What conflict does to the environment — and why trees matter.

War takes lives first. That truth should never be minimized. But it also leaves another kind of wound — one that doesn't make the headlines but lasts for generations.

Bombing campaigns release devastating amounts of carbon into the atmosphere. Destroyed oil infrastructure poisons coastlines and marine ecosystems for decades after the last shot is fired. The communities living along the Gulf — already rebuilding human lives — will also inherit an ecosystem that has been quietly, severely damaged.

We can't plant trees in a conflict zone. But we can plant them where they'll grow, thrive, and help offset some of what's being lost. That's not nothing. That's something tangible you helped make happen.

"We can't do what needs to be done most. But we can do something. And right now, that matters."

Our sustainability commitment goes beyond the trees.

The Plant a Tree program is our most visible sustainability action, but it isn't the only one. We've spent the last several years quietly — and sometimes loudly — rethinking every part of how we package and ship our products.

Where we stand today:

♻️  Recyclable & Compostable Materials

Our outer packaging uses recyclable and compostable materials wherever possible — no unnecessary plastic, no oversized boxes, no filler waste.

♻️ Minimal, Intentional Design

Beautiful packaging doesn't need to mean wasteful packaging. Every design decision starts with: do we actually need this?

 ♻️ Reduced Carbon in Fulfillment

We've worked to consolidate shipments, reduce packaging weight, and choose carriers with documented sustainability programs.

♻️ Tree Planting as Standard Practice

Every Earth Day campaign reinforces our standard: sustainability isn't seasonal. It's the baseline we operate from, year-round.

We're not perfect — no brand is. But we're committed to the direction, and to being honest with you about where we are and where we're going.

Shop what you love. Do something that lasts.

You don't have to buy something you don't need. But if you were already thinking about it — a restock, a gift, something you've had on your list — this is the moment to do it when it means a little more.

Why we keep doing this — even when it would be easier not to.

Every year around Earth Day, someone on our team asks the same question: is this actually making a difference, or does it just make us feel better?

It's a fair question. And our honest answer is: probably both, and that's okay.

The trees are real. The USDA program is verified. The carbon sequestration happens. And the feeling — the sense that your purchase did something more than just move a product from a warehouse to your door — that's real too. It changes how people think about the brands they support. It changes how our team thinks about what we're building.

In a year when the environmental news feels genuinely dire — when oil is washing onto coastlines and forests are burning — we think the most important thing a brand can do is stay the course. Not throw up its hands. Not wait for someone else to act first. Just keep planting.

Earth Day closes April 22nd at midnight.

Every order before then plants one tree in your name through the USDA Forest Service. Orders after that go back to being just orders.
