At Trilipiderm, we’ve made a conscious effort to keep our skincare collection tightly curated. We have extremely high standards when it comes to our formulas, determine only to produce products that are science-backed and rigorously vetted to ensure that they’re effective, hydrating, and gentle on the skin. So on the rare occasion that we do introduce a new product, you can be sure that it's worth its salt.
Such is the case for our newly launched, first-ever brightening facial treatment, Cirque[PDPD PAGE LINK TK], a vitamin C serum that powerfully brightens, fades dark spots, hydrates, and promotes a more youthful-looking complexion overall.
The name “Cirque” is inspired by a famous black diamond ski run in our birthplace, Jackson Hole. It’s one of the most advanced ski runs in America, requiring patience, dedication, and skill—all qualities we exhibited when crafting this formula. We’re excited to honor the rugged beauty of our beloved Wyoming with our most advanced formula yet.
We truly believe this serum is a breakthrough formula that will pave the way for the next generation of vitamin C skincare. And we can’t wait to tell you all about it.
What makes this serum a standout?
When it comes to skincare treatments—particularly treatments that capitalize on the brightening, radiance-boosting, and anti-aging benefits of vitamin C—we know there are plenty of options out there. That’s why we went above and beyond to create one of the most technologically advanced formulas on the market. Here’s what sets Cirque apart from other vitamin-C infused serums you may have tried or heard about:
1. It contains 3 different forms of vitamin C.
There are actually a number of different types of vitamin C that you might find in skincare formulas. The type (or types) of vitamin C used can greatly affect the product’s efficacy. In this serum, we’ve included not one, but three different forms of vitamin C. Here’s what each type contributes to Cirque:
Ascorbic Acid: Ascorbic acid is the technical name for pure vitamin C. This type of vitamin C is the most biologically active and well-studied form. It’s the most effective at penetrating the skin barrier, meaning it is also the most effective at providing all the benefits associated with the ingredient (brightening, evening the skin tone, reducing signs of aging, etc.).
Kakadu Plum Fruit Extract: This botanical extract is derived from the kakadu plum, an Australian superfruit that has the highest natural concentration of vitamin C on the planet. In fact, experts say it contains over 50 times more vitamin C than an orange. Kakadu plum is also high in gallic acid and ellagic acid which have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, making this vitamin C-loaded ingredient particularly great for acne-prone skin or irritation-prone skin.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: The third form of vitamin C featured in this formula is Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (also known as THC). This form is oil-soluble, meaning it can easily get past your skin’s natural oils to penetrate deeply into the skin. It also is the most stable type of vitamin C. Whether you use this treatment daily or once a week, you can rest assured knowing that it will always provide the same impressive and powerful results as the first day you opened it.
2. It uses gold to boost efficiency
Cirque has a luxurious ingredient that you’re not likely to find in other vitamin C treatments: gold. But it’s not just for show. When Vitamin C molecules are encased in this high-end mineral (as they are in our formula) it boosts absorption, increasing the formula’s potency and efficacy.
It’s biggest perk though is that gold helps stabilize the Vitamin C. Other similar serums can oxidize after a short period of time (causing the formula to be less effective and potentially cause skin irritation).
3. It has hydrating and anti-aging benefits.
Every Trilipiderm product is focused on keeping your skin as moisturized and healthy as possible. To ensure that this serum not only treats but also hydrates, it includes twice the hyaluronic acid of our other products. This key ingredient is the industry gold standard for hydration, known for its ability to attract and hold onto 1000x its weight in moisture.
While hyaluronic acid is able to plump the skin, Cirque also includes a number of other key ingredients that promote a more youthful-looking complexion: Gold and Pseudoalteromonas ferment extract (derived from Arctic mud) promote collagen production, making fine lines and wrinkles less visible. Meanwhile the lactic, tartaric and malic acid in sugar maple extract gently exfoliate the skin, also helping to reduce signs of aging and evening out the skin tone for a more radiant complexion overall.
As skincare minimalists, We’re firm believers in keeping your routine as simple as possible. Healthy and hydrated skin shouldn’t require 10-steps or 20 different products. That’s why we’ve done all the hard work for you. This multitasking treatment is both a powerful brightening and anti-aging serum wrapped up into one. Using a carefully crafted ingredient list and science-focused innovation, we’re proud to make it easier than ever to tap into your best skin yet.
